The ONe who lost

When your campaign doesn't work

By Kyle Hannon

About

We hear all about the winners in local elections. We may know them personally. What about the ones who lose those same local elections? We know them too.

Losing an election is one of the most difficult, emotionally draining experiences a person can face. Candidates spend considerable time and money so everybody knows their name. Consequently, everybody knows the candidate who lost. Did unsuccessful candidates work so hard to be known as “losers”?

If you have a friend or loved one who just lost, this writing should help you understand what they have gone through. If you are the losing candidate, this writing will, hopefully, help you understand that you are not alone. You will see that others have felt the same way you are feeling.

Most importantly, I hope this writing will help you believe that you did a good thing by running.

Reviews

"All important in politics is whether you win or lose, not how you play the game. So it seems at times. Not always. Kyle Hannon tells of losing candidates who dared to seek office and sometimes won by losing, helping to improve the way the game of government is played and even going on to win a later elective race."

"Whenever someone is interviewed you always question your responses and how they will be represented. Kyle did an amazing job of using my thoughts and quotes to truly get across my feelings. I also learned a lot in this book on how others feel and what they went through. I highly recommend this book for both candidates and for those who are just interested in the insiders view."
